Non-surgical alternatives to cosmetic surgery are becoming
more and more popular these days, especially here in Reno.  While this applies mostly to the face, we
cannot leave out the nose!

Non-surgical rhinoplasty is a straightforward, in-office
procedure that can help you get the nose you want without surgery.  So what is involved in a non-surgical
rhinoplasty?
With the advances of dermal fillers (Restylane, Juvederm,
etc.), we have extended their use to the nose area.  Think of using fillers on the nose as a way
to build up or augment an area that needs enhanced shape.  Injecting very small amounts of filler in
specific areas can sculpt you a new and improved nose.
For example, a low and flat bridge of the nose can be
augmented to give the area more balance and better shape.  A crooked nose can be carefully evened out
with dermal filler carefully placed on one side.  A hump can be camouflaged by adding dermal filler around it.
Remember that the nose is a very intricate, delicate, and
individualized feature on every person’s face. 
A non-surgical rhinoplasty is essentially “liquid sculpting” with a
dermal filler.  It takes a surgeon with an extensive understanding of nasal anatomy, experience in surgical rhinoplasty, and
a keen artistic eye to give you a great result.  He should also be excellent at injecting
dermal fillers!
While a non-surgical rhinoplasty can address specific issues
of the nose, it does not completely replace a surgical rhinoplasty for other areas that
need to be changed.
