We have all seen it, probably on TV or at The Summit Mall. Someone looks “frozen” from getting Botox. It is a common concern for those who have never had a treatment before. Trust me, I understand and hate that look. I want you to look refreshed and brightened, not stone-faced and expressionless.

The answer is YES, you absolutely can get a treatment of Botox and look natural. To achieve the right look, understanding where the injections are placed and why is important. The muscles of the face give us our natural expression, but can also form those fine wrinkles we are fighting
against.
To find a fine balance between expression and smoother skin, I typically recommend treating muscles of the face that pull things down and in. This works especially well around the eyes (your frown lines and crow’s feet).  Treating these muscles help open up your eyes. You look more rested, brighter, and less-squinty (especially in photos). We can treat these
areas and still leave the rest of your muscles intact.  You can raise your eyebrows, give a nice big smile, and even frown (but who needs to do that?).
My main goal in giving Botox treatments is to help reduce those wrinkles with a natural look. You should be able to go to all of your holiday events without your friends and family being able to tell. You will be smoother, brighter, and more youthful, but you still need to smile for those holiday photos.
We can decide together what treatment is best for you.  Remember, I offer all types of neuromodulators including Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport.
Happy Holidays!
Here’s to the beautiful human face,
